Easier Said Than Done
It's easier said than done. Most people like to say this especially when they face a difficult situation in life. The common excuse if they THINK they CANNOT achieve by THEMSELVES alone. Well, during Bible Study this week, the pastor talked about relationships most of the time. God is amazing, I was thinking about relationship the afternoon before and then there it is, the pastor talking about the topic that bothered me. Well, the main thing that captured my attention was the phrase: 'it's easier said than done'. I used this term often as well, if you see my last entry, I used it too.
The pastor mentioned that people say this particular pharse because they think that the 'DONE' , is done by themselves alone. They forgot about God. They forgot about Jesus. My kangaroo sister wrote on her msn for a period of time this: ' GOD + ME = MAJORITY'. This is true, even the pastor mentioned it before. I always thought that people have to be super independent in their own ways as much as possible and only turn to God when in need of help. But God is not a genie or a wish-master. He is the father, a friend, a lover and a buddy. In every situation, HE will be there for you even if HE is testing you. HE is just waiting there patiently for you to seek him in every possible way so that HE can guide you. (Read Matthew 11: 28-30)
Thus fear not! Cause God is with you and with all of us.
