It's really ironic to see one disable person to laugh at another disable person... I've just saw one of the best comedian ever, Russell Peters. Heard of the phrase: "You go to jail, bad boy" or "Some body's gonna get hurt real bad..." Yeah, those are his favourite phrases...
Well well well... I can't seem to think of what to comment about these days. Perhaps I'm suffering from mental block after trying to satisfy the customer's needs each day by answering their, at times seemingly stupid questions.
Some tips when you buy something:
1. Know what you are buying... do you really need it or do you just want it?
2. Know how the thing would benefit you... who will buy something that will hurt them or cause them pain and suffering?
3. If you don't know what you are getting into... don't get into it or ASK! Don't stupidly buy things and yet when it turns out badly... you start to point fingers as well as blame the whole damn world except yourself.
Well, why am I saying these? Aside from tacky and pushy salesperson or relationship managers or whatever you call them.... the other party to the contract is the person buying it. You don't have to be afraid to say 'No'. Seeing those people who cry out their heart and soul to get their money refunded. Well, it's true that their hard earn money for retirement just went... whoosh away... but to think back, if they haven't really brought it, would they suffer the same fate?
I read a newspaper article about the end of a greedy era. It's true... money makes people greedy. There never seems to be enough of it. Each class of people have a different capability to use their money for something.
So stop yelling and shouting about yourself and crying over spilled milk (not inclusive of melamine) and do something about it. Are you going to spend your days in Hong Lim Park complaining or are you going to work and get back those money?
One reason why protesting in Singapore cannot last despite the government is giving public access to Hong Lim Park to 'discuss' and 'complain' about their lives. Simply, money. A person can use that 1 week at Hong Lim Park to protest for all they care to get the media's or government's attention. However, another person can use the 1 week to work hard and earn money to live better. Imagine you are a student, would you sacrifice your tutorial time to protest for 6 months? Imagine you are a working adult, would you sacrifice your working hours to protest each day? Money talks!
I hate to admit it but protesting these days, ain't the kind of revolutionary means anymore. The government that allows people to live peacefully and being rich, is the one that the people will support. Look at the whole world now, all are racing to be the richest nations of the world...
Ultimately, there would be a day where money, in the form of paper, would no longer exist. I wish that the day money cease to exist... people will start to live their dreams again. As money can allow you to pursue your dreams, but at the same time destroy it.
Dreams... dream big and achieve it well. Dreams
