Hey hey, it's been some long time since I updated by blog due to busy schedule from work!!
Anyway, some updates... I'm still alive!! Woah.... ok lame shit. Well... lack of sleep + too much activities = Highness!
I've met up with Macaw and two other PRIMARY SCHOOL classmates earlier. Well, how rare is it for Singaporeans or even people to meet up with friends that goes way back. Somehow, some got forgotten along the way, however, many are still being remembered for the times we had during primary school.
I remembered those times when some classmates and I ran away from the assembly hall and into the toilet. It wasn't some diarrhoea case, however, we just hated standing and singing towards the stage. So we ended up standing and singing in the toilet facing the mirrors. We actually sang the whole national anthem as well as saying the pledge. One in a life time experience for those who ever in the toilet that day.
I remembered those times when I slept at the back of the class, in a row with my other male classmates, during Chinese classes... while the more studious ones were right in front of the teacher. I don't think I was snoring at that time though. Haha
I remembered those times when I hang out with my Muslim friends more than my Chinese friends, learning and experiencing their culture yet learning how to fight (street-fight). That's where I learnt about gangs too!! Woah
I remembered those times sitting outside the Principle's office for scolding bad languages to my best friend, causing a big hoo-haa in school. It was all due to some stupid game that the boys played during each semester... something like combat skirmish using rubber bands and paper pellets. haha
I remembered those times being called down to my youngest brother class due to his naughtiness... Giving attitude to his form teacher and telling my brother off in front of his classmates. I thought it was cool and brave then... well I guess I still think so. Haha
So many memories... so many people that followed me in life. I hope that I meet them someday. Hopefully not in out red/ blue/ green/ yellow/ purple house shirt though.... anyway we were matching house shirts with regards to remembering our classmates. I guess house shirts ain't a lame thing after all.
Reflecting about one's life involves many aspects... my Uncles Christopher told me that when you hate someone or dislike someone, it is mainly due to hating or disliking something in that person, which reminds you of something you dislike about yourself. I guess it has been partially true. Jesus once said to an adulteress, who was suppose to be stoned to death. He told her accusers that if no one else did wrong or sin, can take the step forward to throw the stones at her. No one did after all (P.S. if you strip a female or male in your mind, it is also considered as adultery)...
Well, similarly, when we judged someone, it reminds us of something ugly that we dislike. However, have you though, if you have the capability to judge others, you must have the capability to prevent that mistake from occurring or having that character in you as well... It's really a hypocrite to say that you dislike something and yet doing it.
Haha and one word of advice from my Uncle to couples... Girls just likes the guy to listen to her... she doesn't need solution or advise (unless she asked), however she just wants the guy to listen and to allow her to let out her excess stress or burden.
Cheers friends! 'N' level is ending, while 'O' level is starting soon. Let your engines begin!
