I really love to watch the movie "Coyote Ugly" whereby this Jersey girl dreamt big and achieve big against all odds. Well... she found her life through music, and from there, started an adventure that would turn her life around. Let me guess, I watched it about more than 10 times since young. It's not only about the girls but also about the music and the meaning behind the movie...
Here's one of the clips (not exact but the song is real) about the song "But I do love you" by LeAnn Rimes.
Somehow, as humans, we tend to have feelings to care for other people and to keep them happy and going on in life. It's difficult to satisfy everyone you know, but at least you tried to make their day better somehow or another.
I understand the sickening feeling when you tried to make someone happy, however in turn you angered the person and causes hurt and pain. It sucks, right? But shit happens, and nevertheless despite the approach being wrong, you have the intention to make things better for others. I guess that matters more...
There's so many to do... so many to think about in life. But how are we going to prioritise and make our lives better each day?
I recently saw the entire episode of the Presidential Debate by McCain and Obama. Well I fell asleep more than once. I guess it was because they are boring people, but it was due to my tiredness from work. However, it's really interesting to hear their comments and see how they debate against each other.
In my opinion, it wasn't really a debate. It's more like a promotion of themselves to the World, of their plans and campaign. I wouldn't deny that their plans are for the betterment of the country, yet I would say that they are really too conservative in their expression that I felt they are just reading of the "model answer from a textbook".
Questions over the financial budget plan by the White House, decisions made over Iraq, views on Russia and 9/11... it is really current affairs, yet they do take precautionary steps to avoid saying anything that would express how they feel. It's really just touch and go... Worse of all, they ain't debating! They are just telling Jim how they feel, there isn't any rebuttal or any such notion... woah!! haha, well I love to see people debating their points across... it makes you think how they think and feel how they feel.
Scouting feels... it takes more than hard skills to be a good scout and leader.
