Resting in Him

The Father is amazing all the time. Whenever I'm on the train feeling tired and sleepy, he would provide for me a seat to rest. This is always the case, but at times, I chose to continue standing instead of accepting that seat. Maybe it's just me thinking that maybe there is someone who needs it more than I do. So I'll just bless that person by not accepting it. And even if I continue standing, the Father would still provide me safety and protection while standing up and resting my eyes and mind.

It's been almost three weeks since my relative told me to accompany her to speak to God for 20 minutes a day. Initially, I thought, what can I say for 20 minutes to Him? Then I thought again, if I can speak to the woman I love for more than an hr, why not Him? So tried speaking to Him daily, but of cause, it will not be successful every time, as there is bound to be interruption and such to break you away from the 20 minutes of chatting and worshipping. I guess He is never tired to hear me say things over and over again, every single day. Some of the stuff I talked to him about includes:

1) Myself
2) The woman I love
3) My family
4) My friends
5) The world situation
6) Asking for blessing and grace for anyone that I will meet along my life someday.

If I were to talk to any human about these and repeat it every single day, my guess is that sooner or later, that person will just ask me to shut up or change another topic. I guess I am just that boring person thinking of others more than himself (is that true?).

Well, next time, if you are tired from your work or from other matters, just close your eyes and speak to him, even if it last for a minute or so, I'm sure He is glad to hear your voice every single time. You'll be amaze that by resting in Him for just a moment would change your life bit by bit.
